Basketball is physical activity. Basketball is mental health. Basketball is belonging. Basketball is skill development. Basketball is freedom.
This is what basketball means to Michael, who shared his experience at Lay-Up alongside his mother, Michelle, and Lay-Up coaches in the documentary "I Want to Say It Was Worth It."
Lay-Up is a space where barriers to access are removed so kids can access community-based, high-quality basketball programs in supportive and empowering environments.
Your donation this Holiday Season will support Lay-Up in reaching hundreds of kids across Toronto this winter, giving them the opportunity to play and be active, have fun connecting with peers and caring coaches, and explore what basketball is to them!
