Andrew Huberman talks about a growth mindset, a powerful mindset for improving learning and performance. By changing the type of praise and feedback that we give, we can improve our ability to learn and perform. However, many people employ types of feedback that actually undermine learning and performance. This video animation explains why and what best to do.

Absolutely agree — cultivating a growth mindset can transform not only how we learn but how we perform under pressure. In swimming, I’ve seen firsthand how the right kind of feedback can either unlock an athlete’s potential or stall their progress. That’s why I structure all my coaching around mindset, not just mechanics.

If you're looking for coaching that blends mindset training with proven swim development strategies, check out our programs at Train Daly. We focus on performance, sustainability, and mental resilience — in and out of the pool.
